Youth rugby is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. By 2016 rugby will be an Olympic sport and who knows, there may be a future Olympian amongst our Club right now. The goals of the Rugby Union Club “Rhinos” are to provide all youth an opportunity to learn and participate in the game of rugby; instill ideals of health, citizenship, character and sportsmanship; teach youth the culture and skills of rugby; raise the level of youth rugby in the United States to international levels; and build an organization where families participate in the operations and contribute to the growth of the game of rugby. The Rhino Rugby Club has teamed up with Costa Mesa Velocity Sports Performance. Coach Andrew with Velocity will be training the Rhinos on Monday nights at the Rhino Training Center. Coach Andrew is a rugby player himself and will be educating the boys on the best techniques to get maximum acceleration and speed. GO RHINOS!!!!
